Vintage Denim
Why Vintage?
Vintage clothing is a relic from a moment in the past no longer present. To the modern, the most relevant outcome is physical, which is still with us.
An artifact of the past that is authentic in nature. A physical memory that can exist in the present moment. By wearing a vintage garment, one can embrace the past, and be influenced to, perhaps, momentarily exist in that moment long-gone.
Vintage clothing represents more than a long-gone style or custom. It is a vision. It is time travel. It is modernism.
We take vintage ideas and redefine them in the modern context. A 1960s pair of Levi’s in 1960 was common. In 2025 a 1960’s pair of Levi’s might be only one of a handful.
Within these extremes, we find solutions that satisfy us based on our unique preferences and experiences. One might seek out a genuine pair of 1970s Lee’s because of a long-gone family member. Another might find that a 2006 Pre-Levi’s lawsuit Iron Hearts will do the trick. Another is happy with Momotaros because of the design. And yet another will be satisfied with a $20 pair of H&M stretch denim.
All are United by one: A vision of an ideal world, grounded in the what-was and inspiring the future what-ifs.
